Plan for the future.

We built Locus because we believe every idea deserves a place to be seen, instead of staying buried in a notes app or on a flying sheet of paper.

We want to make it extremely easy to share, participate, fall in love with and realize ideas.

And this is how we plan to do it.

01

Create the home for ideas.

Build a space that feels alive, where posting an idea takes seconds and reading someone else’s makes you want to jump in. Get excited about what other people are working on. Join their ideas, form teams, and take the whole thing off the screen and into real life.

02

Introduce project pages.

Every idea that gets going gets a page of its own. It’s where the people who followed it from the beginning watch it move: updates, progress, decisions, setbacks. Building in public, by default.

20,000
Once Locus reaches twenty thousand users, we move on to the next features.
03

Open the doors to investors and accelerators.

Investors, accelerators, angels and funds get their own pages on Locus. They can publish calls for funding and calls for ideas, and receive applications.

04

Fast apply with the project passport.

Founders write the private side of their project once: problem, solution, market, what makes it different. It stays private, and it becomes stored information used for every application on the platform, sent with a single click.

05

Let projects crowdfund.

Project pages can raise money directly from the people already following them.

How we imagine it will work.

Imagine Luca. He has a groundbreaking idea for a robot that turns lunar soil into building blocks, and no clue where to start, who to build it with, or how to fund it.

A robot that turns lunar dust into building blocks, so we can build on the Moon without shipping every brick from Earth. I want to start by making one solid block from simulated lunar soil. Who wants to build it with me?

06 what all of it is for

An idea from the most hidden corner of the world should be as visible as one from San Francisco.

And it should reach the same people, the same help and the same resources as one from London or New York. Not eventually. From the moment it exists.

We want the smallest spark of human ingenuity to have somewhere to land, so that anyone can change the world or just their own neighborhood.

Because talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.
